This time we threw around a lot of ideas, and didn't come up with much in the form of new "policy", and that's OK.
What we did decide was to re-instate the 100 Fleet Marks limit per day, although this time that is a limit on a per-project basis. In other words, you may contribute 100 Marks toward 9 different projects in a single day should the opportunity arise, but you may not fill them all up in a single day UNLESS you come across a project that ONLY needs marks in order to fill. In that case, by all means, finish it!
We also decided against a couple of new ideas. There will not be a 1,000 Dilithium contribution per day mandate (although dilithium contribution is still very much appreciated and encouraged... we just won't be requiring it). We will not by forming an alliance with another Fleet in order to tier up faster. I outlined the conditions under which I'd accept an alliance with another Fleet. It'd have to be on the basis of an equitable exchange, as follows...
Our Fleet would be actively tiered up by members of the allied (Tier V or similar) Fleet, who would join our Fleet temporarily to contribute duty officers, marks, commodities and so forth in order to earn Fleet Credits, which would be hard to earn in their large Fleet. We, in return, would be expected to contribute our Dilithium to their Fleet, in order to help them provision gear. In return for this, we would have access to the gear at their Starbase, Embassy, Dili Mine, and Spire. They would get Fleet Credits and Dilithium from us, and we would get Gear and Tiering up from them.
Again, this whole idea was rejected (I'm requesting absolute unanimity on this in order to even consider proceeding). I just wanted to outline my proposal here.
We also discussed finding a way to get a Team Speak channel for our Fleet. I'm not certain how we can do this, and I'm requesting that anyone with any information regarding how these other Fleets establish Team Speak channels please let me know, either in this thread or another dedicated Team Speak thread.
We decided we'd like to overhaul the Triforce of Power bank along the same lines as the very successful Triforce of Courage bank. In order to do this, we will need 1,233,000 EC per repository that we purchase, and we'd need 5 of them. That comes to almost 5 million EC. If you're interested in helping us with this project, please contribute some EC to the Triforce of Power fleet bank. Anika has volunteered to manage the new Power side bank, but if anyone else would like to take a crack at it, please get in touch with her. I suspect she just might let you.
We also talked about overhauling the Events, and we agreed to discuss the planning of these new Events here in the forum. I'll be posting more information in the Events thread on the forum.
And that's about it!
