The Republic and Federation long-range sensors have discovered what appears to be a Dyson Sphere coming from the Delta Quadrant. This intrigues me greatly as it may provide research materials for Project Andromeda and maybe more than that.
There are a number of issues though concerning this.
The first is Daniel Holloman...According to what information I could get he loves to acquire rare and hard to create technology. This in turn with his penchant of not being one to follow the rules makes me assume he will be there. I will have to figure out a way to ensure he either stays out or play by our rules.
The second is concerning the Project itself...To undergo such a journey we are going to need a good security detail. One that Callista can trust, but not necessarily me-though that would be helpful if I did-along with getting the research team prepped and ready to go too.
The third and final concern is the Klingon Empire...In particular House Sabure and House M'Gogh...It was my deepest regret to have soured things with those Houses and the Empire itself. I let my pride get the best of me and did not recuse myself due to my nervous condition and me going through Pon Farr. I regret that, but I must stand by the Federation as well, but I could have went through with it differently. The Empire will most undoubtedly get involved and so I must find a way to smooth things with the Empire or at least get an agreement for us to cooperate.

I have went to Deep Space K-7 to speak with Naomi Wildman concerning her experiences with the Delta Quadrant and to get prepared for the expedition to the Dyson Sphere...It may be regrettable that I may not have a chance to go explore the Dyson Sphere with the Research Team, but I at least want to make certain they are prepared and ready for anything.
Chief of State D'Tan has convinced the Senate to send increased aid to the Andromeda Project's Research Team. Dhasek is also prepping the Inceptum for a long term flight and time away from Mol'Rhihan.
I have also convinced Kate Mitchell to be part of the Security Detachment for the Research Team for the Dyson Sphere expedition.
I have much that needs to be done for the Project and not much time in between my duties as an Ambassador.

I have sent my staff to speak with the crew of the Voyager.
I doubt that discussing with them personally about their experiences will yield high results since I have already had my staff read up on the records of the crew and log entries that they are permitted to read-alot of what they will speak about will be in their records, but it is also used as a cross-reference to ensure the Federation records are accurate and up to date. I have a personal team aboard the Isami doing most of the research while I and a few others will go out and speak to the members of the Voyager crew.
I hope to have all of the data compiled and sent to Callista immediately

Why did D'Tan authorize to reactivate the Iconian Gateway?! Has he gone mad? My only reasoning as to why he did so was from pressuring from the Senate in which the Senate vied for reactivating the Gateway.
My only saving grace is that I will be there when the Gateway is reactivated. I hear that AMbassador Worf will be there as well. I hope that he and I will see things eye to eye despite some of our differences we have.
S'Tavek will be here too, I can not let my friend be left out of this at all. I know he will be ready for this. I can only hope that the actions the Republic is taking won't mean their inevitable doom.

While I do find it regrettable that all of the Iconian Gates are reactivated I will say that I made it out alive with everyone that survived that fateful day when the New Romulus gate was activated.
The Republic has many tough choices. Ones I hope the Federation will be able to help the Republic with. The Gates and the Omega Particle being known here in the quadrant again has led to me making tough decisions. S'Tavek knows about the Omega Directive since I told him about it. He knows what it all entails including the fact that it supercedes the Prime Directive.
I can only hope that the Dyson Sphere will not bring about more tough decisions and complications for peace to come.

Thank goodness Republic Command and Klingon High Command have some sense in their heads. They have both initiated their own versions of the Omega Directive and have joined with the Joint Command at the Dyson Sphere. I have sent Ishir to take my place in the Senate while I move to the Sphere in secret with the Andromeda Research Team. I know what I am doing is very questionable, but I have to make certain I am there to see that the Republic is taking all measures to wipeout the Omega Particle. If they don't want to destroy the Iconian Gates, fine, but I will not sit idly by and watch the Republic be foolish enough to mess with the Omega Particle. Too much is at stake to be experimenting with such things.
Additionally, I have had S'Tavek be granted access to more of Voyager's logs so that he could examine more about Voyager's encounter with the Voth and the Omega Particle.
I fear for every question answered here at the Sphere, twice as many more questions will be opened.

Much has changed throughout my time as a Federation Ambassador...Much has led me thinking of what I should do with my life. Things were simple when I was just an officer of Starfleet and served to carry out the views and traditions of the Federation throughout my life. But then, the Romulan Republic got formed, and I found myself wanting to do more to bring about peaceful coexistence between the Federation and the Republic and thus I joined the Federation Diplomatic Corps. I rose enough to become one of the chief Ambassadors on New Romulus, and I got myself 'involved' with a member of the Klingon Delegations. A General of House Sabure, Jabitha. We met during routine war exercises and fought each other to a standstill between her B'rel and my Armitage. We got to know each other and we fell in love...
It did not take long to break her heart and earn her ire. When House M'Gogh came and breached Federation space to rescue one of their own-with the assistance of House Sabure-I was tasked to demand reparations from them. Things went bad as I reacted in a hasty and angry manner towards them both which only caused to increase hostilities between the Klingon Empire and the Federation rather than improve.
In against the recommendation of my superiors I continued to serve as an Ambassador and even convinced those in charge of the Dyson-Sphere Joint Command to allow me to be part of it shortly after the Solanae Dyson Sphere got discovered with the ability to produce Omega Particles.
I worked hard to repair the wounds I had made, but nothing would do to heal what was done.
It was only then after experiencing the Undine and the ceasefire agreement on Qo'NoS-which I am surprised I was not murdered on sight when I walked into the Great Hall-that I decided to take a sabbatical on Risa.
However, my sabbatical was not restful as I ran into Jabitha again. I was on the verge of quitting mending the fences with her and M'Gogh and was tempted to take the offer to join the fabled Section 31.
Before I made my decision I asked Jabitha why I should continue to try to repair the damage that was done when it was clearly doing me no good. She and I spoke and it came to the conclusion that I should be hunting the one who ordered me to do the very damage I did on Deep Space Nine and bring him to justice. I thought it was foolishness at first and then realized what had happened to Admiral Tuvok and what the Undine did to his mind. I thought, that maybe, my mind was influenced in a similar manner. So I had Jabitha perform a series of testing on my body to see if my mind has been altered by any drugs, devices, or any other manner that Section 31 could do.
The tests were...unexpectedly logical. My body had levels of an Obsidian Order mind-altering drug used to alter one's mood and behavior as a means to influence them to do what they want the subject to do. The Obsidian Order was no more and the fact that I was not in areas where True Way activity was high, and through tracing who ordered me to Deep Space Nine in the first place, I have come to the conclusion that someone in Section 31 wanted me to cause damage to the Klingon Empire.

I just wanted to say keep this up. This log is very good and it's a great job of keeping things up to speed on where the story is, from a character's point of view.

The ceasefire agreement has been most enjoyable. Its nice to not have the Empire wanting your head. And it is even better to be able to redeem myself as well.
However there is much that is needed for my future days, and much meditation. I have stepped down from being Chief Ambassador at New Romulus and have been granted commission as Rear Admiral and posted at New Romulus as head of Fleet Operations within the Tau Dewa Sector Block.
However I fear that my troubles are not over. And with the arrival of Shiarrael Aenikh, my cousin, I have much to worry about. She and I have...bad blood to be nice about it. And she views my father and myself as traitors to the Star Empire which I find...illogical since she herself has left the Star Empire and has joined the Republic...Her behavior is...confusing.
Much has to be done in regards of dealing with her and her engagement to S'Tavek.
