Name: Zael
Affiliation: Independent; Klingon Empire; Blades of the Federation
Species: Human
Occupation: Independent Contractor
Rank: Captain
Station: Commander, Mercenary Ship Lazulis; Operative, Blades of the Federation Black Ops Division
Family:
Parents: Father:
Mother:
Siblings: None
Marital Status: Married
Children: None
- Intelligence Report -
Zael and his crew suddenly appeared on the radar of several intelligence agencies across the Klingon Empire, the Federation, and the Romulan Star Empire several years ago. They started off as a group of privateers enlisted by the Klingon Defense Force to raid Star Empire ships in their territory before the advance of the Defense Force's ships. Earning a great reputation for honoring their contracts and for their efficiency in defeating their enemies they were granted permission to go freelance, but often did work for the Empire especially after the ceasefire between the Romulan Republic, Klingon Empire and Federation.
In battle Zael and his crew specialize in defeating the enemy quickly but have found ways to shore up their defenses making their ship virtually a dreadnaught.
- Personality Profile -
Zael was reportedly an orphan; losing his parents at a young age. He met a young man, still a boy really, named Dagran. Like Zael he was an orphan and they decided to stick together. Years passed and the two became top-notch mercenaries, but not without cost. Over those years comrades had joined and some were killed on their jobs. As such Zael became increasingly protective of his comrades and especially his now-wife Callista. He takes it so far that he intentionally draws the enemy's attention away from his comrades, giving them breathing room to attack.
Despite being a mercenary Zael is quite a gentle person. He is capable of befriending people easily and has shown kindness and compassion to others by catching thieving children and quickly replacing what they stole before they're caught and sending them on their way. Zael also tries to help people out when he can, even if they can't pay the normal amount for his services.
