Hi! Welcome to the word game board. Word games can be fun and addicting and there are several word games out there and I've played a lot in the past and thought everyone might enjoy them. We don't have to keep it strictly related to Star Trek since people like different things and we're allowed to like stuff outside of our Trek Nerdiness.
Do not create duplicate games. Duplicate games will be deleted unless the previous game is like 100 pages back and is considered dead.
Making games excluding players is also prohibited. The Word Game Forum is open to everyone.
Spaming, flaming and trolling is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Games that are made to deliberately hurt other people will be deleted immediately.
Basically, play nice, be kind and have fun.

What are word games?
There are several different types of word games to be played. Here are a list of several different types of word games.
There are Word Association Games which are basically someone says a word like "Bottle" and the next post says "Glass" and someone goes with "Mirror" so on and so forth. If someone cant think of a word to associate with the poster above them, they tend to start a new round.
The Alphabet Game is also a fun one. You start off with the word that starts with A and keep going until you get to Z. You could also do the alphabet backwards too!
The Person Above You Games* are extremely fun. The first person to post generally says a random word to get it started, or tells the people what game they're playing and the next person says something along the lines of the theme the original poster wanted. Ex: The Person above you is a Klingon, Romulan, Ferengi...ect.
The Person Below You Games* are to try and guess something about next person to post.
There are Story Creation games as well. Each poster is limited to one single sentence for each post and you cannot post twice in a row. It's always fun to see the outcome of a story! There's no planning, plotting or talking about it. It's whatever the next poster wants to put down.
There are several more games but these are all I could really think of at the moment. I've played these games and they're fun.
*The Person Above/Below You games can also be called "The Officer Above/Below you" for the sake of this forum.
